No it’s supposed to be セーラ or セラ. That’s what Japanese people and my Japanese teacher tell me. My calligraphy teacher in Japan even gave my name a kanji (lol) 世羅
The majority of Japanese people write セーラ (when I was on tv in Japan once they wrote it like that too.. But reo always insists that it’s セラ not セーラ and kyary wrote it as セラ on her signature to me )
My name ‘Sarah’ isn’t pronounced as ‘sa’ in English more a ‘se’ which is why it translates into セ.
The more Japanese people telling me different spellings of my name, the more I realise the spelling of my name in Japanese isn’t even that important
I recently picked up Doraemon as a learning aid for my Japanese studies.
I wrote a blog post about it - so check it out !!!
How do you study Japanese?? What are your tips? Let me know!!
